American Flyer Stock Yard & Car 771 Operating Instructions

The American Flyer Stock Car and Yard model 771 was built to mimic a farm operation that moves cattle onto a rail car. The car does a great job of moving the cattle about and when the flat car pulls up, moves the cattle on board. Below is the original service manual, parts list and instructions for authorized Gilbert American flyer service dealers to repair the American Flyer Operating Stock Car and Yard 771. This is version one of three versions. Version 2 is for the same part number and version three is a later model after Gilbert expanded its number scheme to 5 digits and is number 23771.

The primary difference between V1 and V2 of the 771 Operating Stock car and yard was based on the type of coupler. The 2nd version had a knuckle coupler and therefor required different service manual and operating instructions. Click here for V2.
