American Flyer Locomotive 285 & 295 Pacific Parts List & Diagram

For one year only the 285 version of this locomotive was offered with the built in electronic whistle mounted in the tender. The higher value reflects the desirability of this feature along with the smaller production volume.

For 1951 only, the New Haven style Pacific locomotive was offered with a built-in air chime whistle in the tender. The result is a value premium due to the desirability of the feature and the lower production volume.

This is the service bulletin furnished by the A. C. Gilbert Co. to authorized service stations to aid them in the service and repair of American Flyer equipment. Specifically, this bulletin is for the American Flyer Locomotive 285 & 295 Pacific Service Manual
